Carbon Fiber
Carbon Fiber is hard on shears! The carbon atoms bound to the strands of this material make it very abrasive, and after just a few cuts, most shears will lose their edge. To cut this material, you need a shear made of strong steel with a cutting angle set to a degree that can handle something this caustic. Wolff has shears that will meet these needs. Modified and non-modified shears are suitable for dry Carbon Fiber, while non-modified shears are more suitable for pre-preg or pre-impregnated composite Carbon Fiber.
